Once there, [1] type "library" (no quotation marks) and press Enter; then [2] type "local" and press Enter; finally [3] type "chau" and press Enter. Instead of using the F-key functions, on the Mac keyboard, type abbreviated commands displayed along with the F-key options...
  • Nota bene: the UTSA programmers have implemented an interface that is Macintosh-unfriendly. The only work-around I have discovered for Macs is to use an IBM terminal-emulation program such as Brown tn3270 (for MacTCP) and enter the location " libcat.utsa.edu ". Then follow the above protocals.

Newly-available at the second-floor reference desk in Newman Library is the International Medieval Bibliography on CD-ROM. This, the Chaucer Bibliography, and the MLA bibliography (available through the Library Home Page: select "databases" and then navigate to the "M" listings), should provide you with many of the references you will need for your projects.
